Wolfgang Heilmann (Conductor, Organ)

Born: Germany

The German conductor, organist and music teacher, Wolfgang Heilmann, studied organ with Professor Ludger Lohmann at the Staatlichen Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart.

Wolfgang Heilmann teaches at the Staatlichen Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart. In 2013, he founded with Judith Erchinger the Stuttgarter Kantaten-Ensemble, a mixed vocal ensemble and chamber orchestra, dedicated mainly to performance of cantatas by J.S. Bach. The members are all students and graduates of the Staatlichen Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart. He currently serves as the Director of the ensemble.
