Patrizia Hardt (Contralto)

Born:

The contralto Patrizia Hardt studied music education at the Lemmensinstituut in Leuven apart from her singing studies with Dina Grossberger. She participated additionally in master-classes of Rebecca Stewart and Marcel Pérès.

In recent years Patrizia Hardt appeared with many ensembles of early music, such as Huelgas Ensemble, Capilla Flamenca und A Sei Voci. Since 1999 she appears regularly as soloist with Sigiswald Kuijken and his ensemble La Petite Bande. In May 2004 she appeared with them at Bachfest Leipzig in J.S. & Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach programme (also documented on DVD).
