The German counter-tenor, Klaus Haffke, studied at the Northwest-German Academy of Music in Detmold. Beginning in 1977 Haffke was pupil in the master class of Jeanne Deroubaix. Already in 1978 he performed for the first time as an altus (counter-tenor). Since then he performed regularly in music centres of Germany and Europe. In 1994 he sang for the first time at the Scala in Milan. |
