The French soprano, Jeanne Guyla, made her debut at the Opéra-Comique in Paris on November 1, 1922) as Micaela in Georges Bizet's Carmen. Chronology of some appearances: 1922: Paris Opéra-Comique as Micaela in Carmen ; 1923: Paris Opéra-Comique as Musetta in La Boheme; 1928 London Covent Garden as Louise in Louise; 1928: Paris Opéra-Comique in Le Roi d'Ys; 1929 Paris Opéra-Comique as Alexina in Le roi malgré lui.

Jeanne Guyla recorded arias from Manon by Massenet (1931-1932), Hérodiade by Massenet (1932), and Louise by Charpentier (1932), Tosca by Puccini (1932) - all with with the tenor Cesar Vezzani; Les Jolies Viennoises by Johann Strauss (1934); Grisélidis by Massenet conducted by Édouard Bervilly (1934); Les pêcheurs de perles by G. Bizet; De tout cotes j'apercois by Lalo conducted by Édouard Bervilly (1934); duet from Le nozze di Figaro by W.A. Mozart with the soprano Yvonne Brothier (1931); as well as the premiere recording of the Peasant Cantata BWV 212 by J.S. Bach with the baritone Martial Singher and chamber orchestra conducted by Gustave Bret (1934).
