The German soprano, Florence Marie Günther, was 5 years old as she received her first musical training on the violin. From 1998 to 2003 she participated at the Münchener Bach-Chor, where she performed her first little solo-parts. From 2004 to 2009 she studied with master Professor Klaus-Dieter Kern at the Conservatory in Karlsruhe. She finished her studies as a graduated teacher and in 2009 as graduated artist. She took also part to master-classes with Brigitta Seidler-Winkler, Daniel Fueter, Malcolm Walker, Didier Henry and Denis Combe-Chastel.
During her studies she has been singing in the Kammerchor Stuttgart conducted by Frieder Bernius and often sang there solo-parts. She has been also a member of the Swiss Chamber Choir. Now she is singing in the Gächinger Kantorei Stuttgart and in the Rheinische Kantorei conducted by Hermann Max. She also sang with different conductors like Holger Speck, Morten Schuldt-Jensen, Hans-Christoph Rademann, Stefan Parkman and Helmuth Rilling.
Florence Günther sings also solo especially for Lieder and Oratorios. Her repertoire covers works from all the centuries (Heinrich Schütz, J.S. Bach, George Frideric Handel, J. Haydn, Johannes Brahms, Felix Mendelssohn, Camille Saint-Saëns, M. Ravel, Francis Poulenc, Benjamin Britten and G. Ligeti). She gave concerts in Germany and abroad. |
