Gottlobe Gebauer (Soprano)

Born: April 3, 1955 - Jahnsbach, Saxony, Germany

The German soprano, Gottlobe Gebauer, studied singing with diploma at the Hochschule für Musik "Franz Liszt" in Weimar.

Gottlobe Gebauer is enganed as a soprano singer and teacher at the Hochschule für Musik "Franz Liszt" in Weimar. As an oratorio and concert singer she has co-operated, among others, with the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, Bachorchester Leipzig, Rundfunkorchester Leipzig and Radio-Symphonie-Orchester-Berlin, Staatskapelle Weimar, Rundfunkchören Leipzig and Berlin, and Dresdner Kreuzchor. She has appeared in Germany and had concert tours to France and to Poland parallel to her activity as music and music therapy teacher. She has taught singing and music therapy at professional schools for Logopädie and at training centres like the Institut für Musiktherapie Berlin or the Theologischen Hochschule Friedensau. She took part in improvisation concerts with Warnfried Altmann, saxophon and Hermann Naehring, Percussion. She lives now in Berlin.
