József Gál (Tenor)

Born: February 10, 1984 - Kengyel, Hungary

The Hungarian tenor, József Gál, studied at Tiszaparti Gimnázium és Humán Szakközépiskola in Szolnok. He studied Baroque singing at Centre de Musique Baroque de Versailles; choir direction at the Liszt Ferenc Zeneművészeti Egyetem in Budapest; and Baroque singing at University of Music and Theatre Leipzig, graduating in 2011.

József Gál is a self-employed singer. He is a member of Collegium Vocale 1704 (Director: Václav Luks), Hungarian Radio Chorus (Magyar Rádió Énekkara), and Purcell Choir (Director: György Vashegyi). In September 2016, he participated in the Festival of Baroque Arts Český Krumlov. He currently lives in Budapest, Hungary.
