The German tenor, Wolfgang Frisch, attended the Musikgymnasium of the Regensburger Domspatzen. From 1994 on, he was first a young student at the renowned Mozarteum in Salzburg, from 1995 full student. He continued his studies at the Musikhochschule Augsburg-Nürnberg, at the Bruckner-Konservatorium Linz and continued privately and in master classes.
After singing his first solo parts in Passau, Wolfgang Frisch had guest engagements, among others, at the Theater in Augsburg, Basel, Linz and Festivals as the Ludwigsburger Schlossfestspielen. He is a member of the specialized in Baroque music Ensemble La Battuta and appears as a concert and oratorio soloist under the baton of renowned conductors as Helmuth Rilling, Michael Hofstetter, Hansjörg Albrecht and Matthew Halls. He is always performs as a guest in concerts of the Bachakademie Stuttgart.
Wolfgang Frisch is also mactive in the education field, and has been a lecture at the Musikpädagogischen Fakultät Augsburg, among others.
