Annika Eliasson Frick (Soprano)

Born: March 16, ____ - Stockholm, Sweden

The Swedish soprano and teacher, Annika Eliasson Frick, studied at Katedralskolan in Uppsala (1973-1976) and the Uppsala Universitet. She obtained her Master of Arts degree in Music from the University of Gothenburg. She also attened courses: Principal education at Rektorsakademien in Stockholm; Business at Företagsekonomiska Institutet in Stockholm.

Annika Eliasson Frick was a member of the Swedish Radio Choir (Director: Gustaf Sjökvist) from 1989 to 1997, participating in recordings, concerts, tours around the world and working with conductors such as Claudio Abbado, Riccardo Muti, James Levine, Herbert Blomstedt, Esa-Pekka Salonen. She was Partner at Ann Braathen Artist Mana in Stockholm from 2000 to 2003, working with artists as Peter Mattei, Malena Ernman, Anna Larsson.

Annika Eliasson Frick has worked as Teacher at Katarinaskolan in Uppsala, Sweden (1997-2004); Teacher at Kunskapsskolan in Uppsala, Sweden (2004-2011; Experience in starting up a new school, Member of management and team leader); Teacher at Enbacksskolan in Tensta (August 2011-January 2012); Project manager at Kista Folkhögskola (August 2012-June 2013. Since March 2014 she is Headmaster at Akademiska skolan in Fisksätra, which she co founded with together with Abdulkader Habib. She is married and currently lives in Knivsta, Sweden.
