Alexander Efanov (Tenor)

Born: 1971 - Tschimkent (former Soviet Union)

The Russian tenor, Alexander Efanov, studied from 1979 to 1989 at the famous Sweschnikov Knabenchorschule. Subsequently, he studied at the Muscovite Tschaikowsky Konservatorium, choral directing with professor Kulikov. From 1994 to 1999 he studied singing with professor Kern at the College of Music Karlsruhe.

Alexander Efanov is very active as a concert singer and has already great successes as cantata and oratorio singer both in Germany and abroad. Since 1999 he is an ensemble member of the State Opera of Stuttgart.
