Henry Cummings (Baritone)

Born: Dublin, Ireland - 1906
Died: 1989

The Irish baritone, Henry Cummings, studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London, later with John Coates Plunket Green. He won Westmoreland Scholarship, and Mario Prize, and Mary Burgess Grant.

After his career as baritone singer, Henry Cummings was appointed as Professor of Voice at the Royal Academy of Music in London, with special subjects: examinations, music adjudications, teaching, etc. He was a member of the Royal Academy of Music. He was married with Norah Newby.
