The American choral conductor, Sarah Childress, sang in the York County Honors Choir (YCHC) in York, Pennsylvania. She obtained her Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance; her Bachelor of Art degree in Political Science; and her Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting and Piano Performance with a minor in Organ and Church Music from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music in Bloomington.
Sarah Childress worked as Conducting Assistant at the Tenth Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia (2006-2010). In 2012 she relocated to the town of Balko, Oklahoma. She is a music teacher for all elementary, junior high, and senior high students. She teaches general music, band, and choir at all levels. |
