Michael Carnaroli (Choral Conductor)

Born: USA

The American choral conductor and teacher, Michael S. Carnaroli, received his B.S in Music Education and Voice from Western Connecticut State University. While there, he received the Don Craig/James Furman Choral Excellence Award (2006) and the Ruth P. DeVillafranca Music Education Award (2007). He is a recent graduate (2009) of the University of Massacussets, Amherst where he received him M.M. in Choral Conducting. While at Umass, he also was a music instructor and a conductor with their University’s large chorus.

Michael Carnaroli is the choral teacher at North Branford High School. He is very excited to be at the high school and looks forward to seeing the choral program grow both musically, and in size. Besides working in Branford, he is the choral director at St. Martin DePorres Academy in New Haven, and in January 2010 started as the Musical Director of the Clinton Choral Club.
