Choeur de Chambre (Chamber Choir)

Founded: 1995 - Chofu-City, Tokyo, Japan

Choeur de Chambre is a mixed choir based in Chofu-City Tokyo, Japan from 1995. Their repertoire includes mostly the choral works of J.S. Bach, including Mass in B minor (BWV 232), Matthäus-Passion (BWV 244) and Johannes-Passion (BWV 245)., which they perform usually with period instruments orchestra. They gave 9 subscription concerts at Wien-Hall in Fuchu-City, which ended in a great success. They performed the chorales from Matthäus-Passion (BWV 244) and Johannes-Passion (BWV 245) at Thomaskirche and Nikolaikirche in Leipzig on a concert tour to Germany in August 2011. In the autumn of 2014, they performed Mass in B minor (BWV 232).
