Born: England
The English bass Richard Bourne was a scholar at the Royal Academy of Music and sang in Westminster Cathedral choir before joining the BBC Singers as a bass.
He lives with his wife in Lamberhurst, where he is generally to be found on the golf course or in his large vicarage garden with his bees.
