Frederick Blum (Piano)

Born: USA

The American pianist, Frederick Blum, began playing at the age of 4 and at the age of 7 was at the Juilliard School, New York. He completed his bachelor and masters there and since then has been distinguished with numeruous awards, including 3rd place at the International Busoni competition, and 4th prize at the Cleveland International Piano Competition of 1979 (the 3rd prize winner of that competition was the Canadian pianist Angela Hewitt).

Frederick Blum lives now in Munich, Germany.
