Mirjam Berli (Soprano)

Born: Winterthur, Switzerland

The Swiss soprano, Mirjam Wernli-Berli, obtained her Bachelor's degree at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste with Lena Hauser (2009); her master degree in education at the Hochschule für Musik Basel with Marcel Boone (2011) with Minor at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis with Evelyn Tubb. She also attended master- classes with Margreet Honig and Lina Maria Äkerlund. Currently she studies singing at the Hochschule für Musik Basel with Marcel Boone (Master of Performance).

Mirjam Berli gives concerts as soloist and ensemble singer, especially in the field of Baroque music. Since 2005, she teaches at the Singschule der Musikschule Schaffhausen, and since 2011, she is the vocal coach of Solothurner. Since 2009, she is a member of the Chor der J.S. Bach-Stiftung St. Gallen (formerly: Vokalensemble der Schola Seconda Pratica of J.S. Bach-Stiftung, St. Gallen).
