Hans Bergmann (Musical Director, Viola)

Born: Wolfenbüttel, Germany

The German music director and violist, Hans Bergmann, studied musicology and German in Marburg, Göttingen and Tübingen.

From 1979 to 1983 Hans Bergmann worked at the Bach-Institut Göttingen. Until 1988 he was lector with the Hänssler Verlag; thereafter he worked as free-lancer (e.g.: 'Erbe der deutschen Musik', Tübingen; Carus-Verlag Stuttgart). He is the Founder and director of Ensemble Musica Poetica Freiburg.
