Bachcollegium Aschaffenburg (Instrumental Ensemble)

Founded: 1990 - Aschaffenburg, Bavaria, Germany

The Bachcollegium Aschaffenburg was founded in 1990 by Christoph Emanuel Seitz and has since accompanied the cantatas and oratorio performances of Aschaffenburger Kantorei. The ensemble with its concert-master Annette Schupp also performs as a separate sound body.

The members of the Bachcollegium Aschaffenburg are mostly musicians from the Aschaffenburg region - teachers and advanced students of music schools and music students.
