Nun lob, mein Seel, den Herren,
was in mir ist, den Namen sein.
Sein Wohltat tut er mehren,
sergiss es nicht, o Herze mein.
Hat dir dein Sünd vergeben
und heilt dein Schwachheit groß,
errett' dein armes Leben,
nimmt dich in seinen Schoß,
mit reichem Trost beschüttet,
verjüngt, dem Adler gleich;
Der Kön’g schafft Recht, behütet,
die leidn in seinem Reich.

Loof nu, mijn ziel, de Heer,
en al wat in mij is zijn heilige naam!
Hij vermeerdert zijn weldaden,
vergeet dat niet, o mijn hart!
Hij heeft je je zonden vergeven
en geneest je grote zwakheid,
hij redt je arme leven,
neemt je in zijn schoot,
overladen met rijke troost,
verjongd als de adelaar.
De koning zorgt voor gerechtigheid, behoedt
hen die lijden in zijn rijk.
